Un rapidissimo aggiornamento per gli ormai pochi lettori del blog 
Dopo tanti esperimenti e tanti alti e bassi a causa del poco tempo abbiamo deciso di fare sul serio e provare veramente a lanciare un’iniziativa imprenditoriale basata sull’editoria online. Dopotutto se non ci si assume qualche (sostanzioso) rischio non si ha nemmeno il giusto stimolo a provare fino in fondo !
E’ nata quindi Media Zen, società che ad oggi non ha nemmeno un logo ufficiale ma dispone già di un’attivissima redazione composta da 6 persone veramente in gamba che seguiranno i nostri siti e le nostre community in ogni fase. Ad oggi abbiamo lanciato già i primi due siti: Come fare e Libri Blog. Come fare è un sito vermente divertente dove spieghiamo tanti piccoli consigli e guide su come risolvere i piccoli problemi di ogni giorno. Il riscontro della community è incredibile con tante email ogni giorno di chi pone domande e chi vuole collaborare.
Libri Blog è invece un sito tutto dedicato ai libri ed alla lettura. Nato un po’ per scommessa e considerato di nicchia, è letteralmente esploso. Abbiamo già oltre 42.000 fan su Facebook, un traffico elevato e costante sul sito ed una community attivissima. Pensate che lunedì scorso siamo stati anche citati sulla rubrica Affari e Finanza di Repubblica. Decisamente un bell’inizio !!
Certo, viste le proporzioni dell’iniziativa non ci aspettiamo di riuscire aa coprire le spese dopo pochissimi mesi, ma i segnali di questi giorni ci dimostrano che stiamo percorrendo la giusta strada. Per ora inoltre abbiamo deciso di non preoccuparci troppo della monetizzazione dei siti. Quella arriverà al momento opportuno, per ora siamo totalmente concentrati sul creare dei siti utili ed estremamente trafficati. Stiamo scommettendo che la qualità paghi. Speriamo di aver ragione.
Che ne sarà quindi di questo blog ? La verità è che non lo sappiamo nemmeno noi. Forse si spegnerà lentamente, forse entrerà a far parte del network Media Zen, forse si trasformerà in qualcosa di più grande.
